Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft Ground-Breaking Ceremony 2011 (9 June 2011)
To mark the momentous event of the setting up of Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft New Service Center at the Seletar Aerospace Park, Bell Helicopter has engaged Forde to manage their Ground-Breaking Ceremony. Attended by over 50 invited guests from the media, government and private sectors, Forde worked closely with Bell Helicopter to ensure that the event space was welcoming and conducive.

Aon Hewitt Best Employers in SINGAPORE 2011 Award Ceremony (29 Apr 2011)
Forde has the privilege of working hand in hand with Aon Hewitt for the prestigious Best Employers in SINGAPORE 2011 Award Ceremony held in Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Singapore, for the 1st time. The award ceremony commemorates all the organizations that have the best people management practices amongst the 900 participanting organisations.
With over 170 invited guests attending the event, we provided a smooth execution of program despite having an extremely tight lead time. Guests were able to enjoy the specially selected buffet menu at 2 different sessions, uniquely set through a well crafted plan carried out by the team.
At the end of it all, award recipients were also invited on stage to take some photos and celebrate their success.

Novartis CML Meeting (18 – 20 March 2011)
Forde once again partnered with Novartis Oncology for the 2nd annual meeting for CML advocates from the Asia-Pacific Region from 18th to 20th March 2011. This event is truly a “dream come true” for Asian CML advocates and in its short life Rising Sun has become a key meeting for CML patients groups from across the Region. Rising Sun brings together representatives from China, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. These advocates, who are joined by speakers from Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland and the US, spent three days at the Fairmont Hotel getting to know each other and sharing best practices.
For this annual event which involved the bringing together of CML patient advocates and care givers, Forde had worked closely with the Steering Committee and Novartis to provide a full suite of event consultancy and management services.

1st Avaya Supplier Day (5 April 2011)
The inaugural AVAYA Supplier Day, hosted by top management executives from AVAYA, was a resounding success with more than 150 international suppliers and partners attending the insightful one-day conference held at The Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore.
Forde had worked very closely with the AVAYA team to ensure the meeting’s agenda is not compromised despite the earthquake and tsunami in Japan which inevitably affected travel plans and business operations.
Apart from a full-day of informative sharing and updates, there was also a Key Suppliers Awards Presentation ceremony which saw up to 75 attendees receive acknowledgement and recognition for their strong support to AVAYA. To top it all off, a networking cocktail reception was organized to end on a high note, till the 2nd AYAVA Supplier Day.

Information Security Seminar 2011 (13 & 14 April 2011)
Forde is once again pleased to manage the Information Security Seminar 2011 (ISS 2011), after successfully running the event in 2010.
Jointly organised by Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), Association of Information Security Professionals (AISP) and Gosafeonline, the theme for this year’s Seminar was “Charting New Frontiers, Information Security as an Enabler”. The seminar focused on public, private and people sector collaboration in enhancing our capabilities to prepare Singapore against new and emerging infocomm security threats.
ISS 2011 consists of a seminar & workshop which was held over 2 days at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel and Nanyang Polytechnic, attended by over 350 participants. The event was graced by Mr Lui Tuck Yew, Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts.

Coca-Cola Singapore’s Customer Appreciation Day 2011 (28 Feb 2011)
Not new to sporting events, Forde is pleased to work with Coca-Cola Singapore Beverages Pte Ltd once again to welcome their customers to their annual Customer Appreciation Day at the Serapong Course at the Sentosa Golf Club.
This followed last year’s Golf Tournament, which was attended by 120 avid golfers, but held at a less challenging course at the same Golf Club.
Forde had also planned for an intimate networking dinner session for the guests after an afternoon of golf.
