Design Singapore – International Advisory Panel (7 to 11 November 2011)
The seventh annual meeting of the Design Singapore – International Advisory Panel (DSG-IAP) brought together distinguished leaders from the international design and business arena. The Panel, chaired by Mr Edmund Cheng, was held over 5 days at the Four Seasons Hotel. Forde worked closely with the Design Singapore committee for the 3rd time to provide a full range of logistics and management services which ensured the smooth and seamless execution of all programs.

Project Manager – Events Services & Programs
You shall
- Conceptualize, develop and execute all events allocated to your responsibility, ensuring a smooth and successful execution of an event
- Prepare for business proposals, presentations and other materials necessary for an event proposition
- Work closely with our business development and creative teams, providing top class advice and impeccable services to our clients, in accordance to the Forde service methodology
- Manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality production and costs control
Requirements:
- You have at least 5 years working experience in the MICE industry
- You possess a Diploma/ Degree in Communications, Marketing, Hospitality or Business related certification
- You are a service oriented individual with a passion in the hospitality and MICE industry
- You possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- You possess basic marketing knowledge and some creative flair
- You are aggressive, results oriented, able to work independently and in a team
- You are a keen learner, highly resourceful and instinctively competitive
- You possess an excellent track record for leadership capabilities
- You are highly resourceful, have an extraordinary eye for detail and a passion to deliver
- Relevant events-marketing experience, particularly in producing, marketing & organizing events, conferences or seminars will be necessary
- You will be required to travel overseas

Clariant Official Opening (1 November 2011)
Partnering Clariant (Singapore) Pte Ltd for the first time, Forde worked closely with Clariant’s Marketing Team from Singapore and China for the Inauguration of Clariant’s Headquarters, SEA & P Region and Global Headquarters of Business Unit Textile
Chemicals. Incorporating the traditional official opening ceremony with a local flavour together with a contemporary official launch event, the Clariant Inauguration Ceremony took place in The Synergy Building, spanning across 4 different office floors, with a total of over 250 guests, media & staff.
At the official launch event, a 3D animation motion graphics clip was developed to announce the relocation of Clariant’s Headquarters to Singapore, as well as to introduce the 12 Clariant Business Units. Utilizing 3 HD projectors to create a panoramic projection image, the dynamic, high-energy 3D motion graphics captured the guests attention and left a deep impression!

Infocomm Industry Forum 2011 (25 October 2011)
The Infocomm Industry Forum 2011 (IIF2011) which was held at the Orchard Hotel on 25th October 2011, was a resounding success with an attendance of over 350 delegates. The
half-day event saw the attendance of several top level attendees from various government, corporate and the academic sectors. The event featured a line-up of renowned international speakers who shared about topics related to the forum theme of “Innovating in a new Converging World”. The panel also provided an intense discussion session amongst the panellists and the attendees.
The IIF2011 also provided an opportunity for the attendees to use a web-based mobile application that allows them to view the information about the forum, take notes, post questions to the speakers as well as participate in the feedback/polling questions, all done real-time via their mobile devices.

Tan Tock Seng Hospital Community Charity Fund Charity Ride 2011 (29 to 30 July 2011)
An exciting charity cross-country sporting event that Forde is very much looking forward to!
Forde is working closely with the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) for this inaugural charity ride that seeks to raise S$300,000 for needy patients and their families.
Come 29 July, Forde and some 50 cyclists will be cycling from Malacca, the place of origin of Mr Tan Tock Seng, to Singapore. The team will then be joined by over 150 cyclists in Singapore, completing a 34Km ride to TTSH, all in a bid to raise as much funds as possible.

Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft Ground-Breaking Ceremony 2011 (9 June 2011)
To mark the momentous event of the setting up of Bell Helicopter and Cessna Aircraft New Service Center at the Seletar Aerospace Park, Bell Helicopter has engaged Forde to manage their Ground-Breaking Ceremony. Attended by over 50 invited guests from the media, government and private sectors, Forde worked closely with Bell Helicopter to ensure that the event space was welcoming and conducive.
